A Beaver Dam firefighter injured in a hoverboat crash while training remains in serious condition.
The other two firefighters were released Tuesday after treatment.
"We’re still putting all the pieces together and that is something we want to get at. Why did this happen and how do we kind of prevent it from happening in the future. They’re somewhat uncommon types of vessels, but we certainly see some public safety agencies that use them," said John Sinclair with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources told Fox 6.
Firefighters were training Monday night when the hoverboat crashed into an island.
The most seriously injured firefighter was flown by by Flight For Life to Aurora Summit Hospital. He remains hospitalized but stable.
The names of the firefighters have not been released.
